5. Ashwagandha: Stress Less
You probably have no clue what this is, but this ancient root has been used for centuries as an herbal alternative to decrease stress & anxiety, increase energy, improve brain function and focus, and be an overall mood booster. My teenage boys were actually taking it to help build muscle mass. I researched the supplement and found the many benefits were accurate, including reducing cortisol and increasing testosterone.
