Not yet. The Checkable Strep Test is currently under FDA review for over-the-counter (OTC) clearance. Until FDA clearance is granted, the test cannot be sold for at-home use.

Checkable is actively working with the FDA and clinical experts to bring the first at-home strep test to market. While we can't provide an exact date, our goal is to make the test available in retail stores and online once FDA clearance is granted.

The test uses a simple throat swab to detect the presence of Group A Streptococcus bacteria — the same bacteria responsible for strep throat. Results are displayed in about 10 minutes using an easy-to-read test strip.
